Navigate to effective headache relief
Live the life you want to live without the burden of headaches or migraines.
Baylor Scott & White’s Headache Care program offers specialized care for various headache and migraine types without a referral from your provider—all accessed via the MyBSWHealth app.
After taking an eligibility assessment, you’ll be connected to a clinician with knowledge of headaches and migraines. Your clinician will work with you to create a care plan based on your condition, symptoms and triggers. You can track your progress and find information using the app’s built-in tools.
Fast access to headache care
You will meet with a headache clinician after completing a short questionnaire. The program’s team is trained in headache treatment and management, and you don’t need a referral from another healthcare provider to enter the program. Your conversations with a clinician will take place virtually, so you can get the help you need from the comfort of your home or office.
Effective migraine and headache treatment
Your headache team will work with you to find a treatment that addresses your headache or migraine type and offers the level of care you need. With access to treatments, your clinician will focus not just on your symptoms but also on the root cause of your headaches.
Your headache clinician can help address a variety of headache types, including:- Chronic daily headaches
- Cluster headaches
- Exertional headaches
- Hemicrania continua and paroxysmal hemicrania
- Hemiplegic migraines
- Medication overuse headaches
- Menstrual headaches
- Migraines with and without aura
- Post-traumatic headaches
- Pressure headaches
- Tension-type headaches
Tools to help you track your progress
Once your treatment begins, you can use the app’s treatment efficacy and episode trackers to log headaches, medication usage and symptom trends so you and your provider can make your treatment plan work more effectively.
Remember, the app is not just a tool for tracking your progress but also a resource for managing your condition. You can also browse Baylor Scott & White’s online headache resources to learn more about your condition and how to manage it.
