What is endometrial cancer?
Endometrial cancer occurs when cells in the inner lining of the uterus (endometrium) start to grow abnormally. This type of cancer usually takes years to develop.
There are two types of cancer in the uterus, endometrial cancer and uterine cancer, and endometrial cancer is the most common.
